Legacy… in LOVING Memoriam

Harold L Moorhead, Jr.

The Man, The Myth, The Legend

9/10/48 – 2/2/24

Hal was a butcher extraordinaire for four decades, carving his way through life with a relentless positivity that left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path. He embraced the great adventure of existence with a zest for all things unconventional, and his light continues to shine through his legacy of love and laughter in all those he left behind.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Christine, their enduring bond lasting an impressive 53 years. His brother Phillip (and family), daughters Kellie and Jenni, and grandchildren Caden, Tatum, William, Ethan, and Owen. He is preceded in death by his mother Jenny, father Bud, and daughter Holly.

Harold’s passions were diverse; he found solace in the mysterious allure of alligators, the animal planet, the thrilling tales of sci-fi movies, the tranquility of his garden, and the sizzle of his culinary creations. Whether planting 200 tomato plants or concocting a masterpiece in the kitchen, Harold’s love for life was contagious.

As we bid farewell to this Sicilian with a heart of gold, let us remember the joy he brought, the laughter he shared, and the unique flavors he added to our lives. May his memory be a feast for the soul and a reminder to savor every moment!
